THE
LAW-
Pennsylvania Law (Act 169. 1988) requires:

years of age or any child being taken out of any grade 1-12. Requires
child's immunization records and list of curriculum objectives (goals)
for the school year. You must attest to the fact that you have at
least a high school diplomar or GED.
Daily log to
show work for 180 days or 900 hours (990 hours secondary level).
Portfolio (album)
to show samples of child's work thru the year in each subject area.
Photos, certificates, reading lists, field trip brochures, artwork,
etc. can be included.
Evaluation of
child at end of school year (by June 30) to determine that an appropriate
education has been taking place.
Medical and
dental exams in certain grades.
Standardized
testing in grades 3, 5, and 8.
NOTE: Once you
file with your school district, they must lend you books if you request
them from the school your child would attend. You can start with them
